Amazing: "Bâtiment" by Leandro Elrich.

Bâtiment, Leandro Erlich au 104 by Palagret
I'm really into art which plays with perspective at the moment. This is a stand out piece by French artist Leandro Elrich. The installation was at Le 104, in Paris.

Art: Real Sleeping Beauty

This unusual art exhibit in the Ukraine has a woman asleep on a bed. Visitors are asked to sign a contract which says they will marry her if she opens her eyes when they kiss her. The model playing sleeping beauty states she will know if her soul mate kisses her and could be her way of finidng true love...

Art: Lego bridge

Over the past few weeks I have seen an increase in Lego viral content and this one stood out. Graffiti artist MEGX has painted a bridge in Germany to look like Lego. The detail and look of the art piece is crazy. Want more? Check out his website

Creative: Sticky tape art project

Max Zorn is a self-taught Dutch street artist who creates images out of translucent packing tape and  scalpels. The layered pieces of art are created on Plexiglas and then hung on public street lights.

Max has started a project called "Let's Stick Together", aimed at increasing the awareness of the art form. He asks you to create an image, place it in public and then take a picture. All the images will be added to a map on his website creating a street art gallery over the entire globe. Now I just need to get some plexi glass and tape...

Creative: 3D art by Yuki Matsueda

The 3D sculptures cretaed by Yuki Matsueda take normal 2D signs or movement and capture it in a really creative way. The exit sign is my favourite. Want more? http://www.yuki-matsueda.com/works.html

aRCe: Magus album cover

I recently worked with the band Magus to create an album cover for "Music That Never Was". It was a great chance to create an art piece with a musician. As with any collaborative piece it was a challenge as different people have different likes and dislikes. However I think the final art work has come out really well. Photography: Back to the Future by Irina Werning

Irina's Back to the future project is all about recreating moments from the past.
It's a great way for you and your family to see how far you have come. I really like the project and I hope she continues.

Art: Street Sign art

The artist of these designs isn't known, probably for the same reason Banksy didn't want people to know his identity. The graffiti was seen on a street in Tuscany, Italy.

Art: Florian Hildebrandt

FLorian has some great pieces on her website. The images show emotion and a form of innocence that can be found in old and young a like. The image above doesn't go with that theme, it's really an off the wall idea but still something that will catch your eye when you look through her work.

ART/Fashion: Work by Shira Keret

Designed by Shira Keret these products are simple yet elegent.
The winged knife reminds me of the adidas x Jeremy Scott trainer collaboration, so minimalistic and yet so effetive.

The bubbles are something truley new and I'm sure can be pulled off by quite a few girls with an arty fashion sense.

ART: Windows Window

Clever out of the box thinking.
A blind with a Windows error screen and a desktop background as a window cover. I think over all it looks too complicated to be in a normal home but would definitely fit right in in a geeks house. The idea of an image over a window is quite clever and maybe can be taken in a different direction to form a cooler idea?

ART: Clothing Peg sculpture

The Giant clothing peg can be found in the Chaudfontaine park in Belgium.
It was designed by Belgium artist Uysal Mehmet Ali. He has incorporated clothing pegs into a lot of his art work, however this art installation seems to be his largest piece of work.

ART: Light Lamp

I think lots of different ideas are good in concept and even in finalised products however the actual finished item wouldn't look right in a normal house. It would draw too much attention or just stick out like a saw thumb (where does that expression come from?). This lamp however really works, its classy, elegant, would work in a lot of modern designed houses and I would like one... If only it was an actual product and not an idea by French designer John Nouanesing.

Inspiring: Shadow Art

Kumi Yamashita is a young Japanese artist who has created some amazing art work. Her shadow art as shown above is crazy, so simple yet so effective.

This video is defintley worth watching as well. It shows how Kumi makes art out of the simplest things but gets such amazing detailed results, the breathing animation is really imaginative as well.

Scrap Book: A Book of Many Authors

The simple idea is to pass a scrapbook from one person to another and create what will be the first "world scrap book". Every artist will fill two pages of the book with designs that can include pictures, a mini story, a poem etc.
Once the book is finished money raised from the book will be used to help children in the philipeans learn to read.

I'm taking part in the project and have donated some money to help the children achieve a better standard of life. My pages will be art mixed with poetry and at the moment I'm really not sure what to write about or have pictures of.

There are actually two scrap books making the rounds, as that was the quickest way to achieve this mammoth of a task. One is currently in Bellevue, WA the others in Kentucky.

To find out more about the book and see the pages as they are created visit the blog

ART: McDonalds Zebra Crossing

I think this zebra crossing is quite cool, a nice mix of advertising with real world markings. Similar to the art work which made a zebra crossing a zip.

ART: 3D Painting

by Patrick Hughes

I saw one of these available in bluewater about a year ago and thought it was the craziest art work I had seen. If I had the money I would have bought one. The effect really does look like that btw.

Poetry: HERO

Hero is the first poem I've released, if this was a song it would be my first single.
The poem combines a story of heart break with a super hero comic (in both image and words). The piece is a combination of poetry, rap and song lyrics with word play mixed in. So far comments have been really positive and I would really like to hear your opinion on it, I hope you like it.

ART: Logo

Love this logo, the use of negative space and combining of lines and shapes to make the two perfect images is crazy, this is the bar for any logo designer.
Btw if you didn't realise its a spartan face with helmet and a golfer
