Creative: Shadow story
I'm not a huge fan of Britains got talent and apparently this act is from Hungry... but either way this is an amazing performance and show shadow puppets are only the start of what can be achieved with shadows.

Creative: Flying carpet table
The Flying carpet table by Duffy London, is made from steel with a material placed over the top of it. Using clever struts underneath and a thin piece of material to look like a shadow the flying carpet really looks like it's hovering. However this isn't exactly wallet friendly at £1,495.00

Creative: Ketchup in soda lid
Lots of great ideas come from problems. People didn't want to get up from the couch when watching TV and so they created the remote control. People wanted to listen to music on the go and so Sony created the Walkman. Sprinters needed more comfortable shoes that would grip the floor when they ran and so Adidas' founder created trainers.
There are other ideas which are either badly designed or do not solve a common problem. I like to call these the betterware ideas. Some may benefit you but generally they are poorly made and are not worth the delivery fee - not to say i have anything against the Betterware brand which has made some useful things.
Above you can see the Dipping Cover by Bae Su-kyoo and Noh Haeun. Whether this is a betterware idea or a stroke of genius depends on the person, or amount of people who would find this useful. I always have an issue with placing my ketchup somewhere and holding food, a drink and ketchup while walking along. Eating in the car can also be a problem. From my perspective the idea does solve a problem. The founders also state that it reduces fast food waste. I think that this somehow verges the gap and is a potential idea for McDonalds, assuming ketchup doesn't get in my coke. What do you think?

Creative: Sticky tape art project
Max Zorn is a self-taught Dutch street artist who creates images out of translucent packing tape and scalpels. The layered pieces of art are created on Plexiglas and then hung on public street lights.
Max has started a project called "Let's Stick Together", aimed at increasing the awareness of the art form. He asks you to create an image, place it in public and then take a picture. All the images will be added to a map on his website creating a street art gallery over the entire globe. Now I just need to get some plexi glass and tape...

Creative: Balloon Lights
Creative lighting at its best - These balloon lights were designed by Francesc Crous and Alessandro Calogero for Estiluz. They may not light your room fully but when they look this good would you care?

Creative: 3D art by Yuki Matsueda
The 3D sculptures cretaed by Yuki Matsueda take normal 2D signs or movement and capture it in a really creative way. The exit sign is my favourite.

Creative: Moses Bridge
The pedestrian bridge has been built near Fort de Roovere in the Netherlands. It divides the water allowing people to walk across the river in an unusual way. The bridge was made by RO&AD architects and was constructed out of extremely durable Accoya wood.

Creative: Little Printer
The little printer will print your daily updates every morning. The device can connect to your smart phone and print everything from your to-do list for the day and the latest news headlines to your friends four square checkin's and daily puzzles.
Whether having information printed instead of just displayed on your phone helps you is personal choice but it's good to have the option.

Creative: Adidas adiPure Trainer
Adidas have just released a shoe that aims to give you the maximum amount of maneuverability. The shoe called the Adidas adiPure looks like a glove for your feet with separate sections for your toes.
This isn't exactly a new idea, a company called Vibram brought out a shoe called the FiveFingers a few years back. I do think Adidas have improved on the look and design of the trainer though.

Carl and Ellie wanted a house with a difference. Their dream home was built in Herriman by Bangerter Homes and is an exact replica of the house in Disney's UP!.
